Iris was born and raised in South Korea, where her early exposure to natural medicine sparked her interest. As she grew older, Iris found that acupuncture was particularly helpful in treating her chronic health issues, which further fueled her passion for natural medicine.
After completing her bachelor’s degree, Iris decided to pursue acupuncture as a career and immediately fell in love with this ancient medicine. In 2012 she obtained her Masters Degree with Honors in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
Iris has diverse clinical experiences in different settings, including pain management, digestive disorders, headaches, sleep disorders, skin disorders, mental illness, and autoimmune disease.
However, her personal experience of overcoming infertility naturally with acupuncture and herbs ignited her passion for women’s health and fertility. As a former infertility warrior, Iris is dedicated to helping other couples have a baby and has decided to specialize in fertility health and women’s wellness.
When she is not working, Iris loves spending time outdoors and with her family, particularly with her two boys. Her favorite hobbies include reading good books, playing piano and tennis, gardening, and cooking new healthy recipes.

Growing up, Nicole witnessed the profound impact of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on health and well-being, especially when her mother struggled with debilitating migraines. Despite numerous treatments, her mom found no relief until her granduncle, an acupuncturist, treated her. After just a few sessions, her mom’s chronic headaches simply disappeared. This early exposure to acupuncture and its effectiveness instilled a deep interest in the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Coming from a family that valued TCM, Nicole was also immersed in practices like cupping for muscle pain and herbal brews for the managing her own menstrual cramps. These early experiences fueled her passion for preventive care and comprehensive healing methods. Nicole decided she would like to carry on the tradition, and work in a medical field that aims for full-body healing, rather than treating symptoms.
After earning a Master of Science Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MSTCM) from the University of East West Medicine, Nicole began practicing acupuncture and gained extensive experience helping patients with pain relief, fertility support, and overall health. Nicole initially focused on pain management, but over the last several years she has developed a strong interest in women’s health, particularly in fertility, PMS and menstrual pain.
Nicole is currently completing her Postgraduate Doctor of Acupuncture degree at Five Branches University. She is working hard and very committed to deepening her expertise and enhancing the patient care experience.
